Is this GSM Modem – Wavecom Fastrack M1306B still available in the market?

Wavecom Fastrack M1306B is a very popular GSM modem manufactured by Wavecom.

However, this modem is end-of-life (EOL), it is no longer being produced. Therefore what is in the market could be:-

  1. fake; or
  2. used or reconditioned

Secondly, Wavecom has been bought over by Sierra Wireless and the brand name “Wavecom” is no longer in used.

Can WhatsApp replace SMS?

Here is a feedback from our customer:-

We are using SMS broadcast as 30% of the broadbase customer still using old type of phone that doesn’t provided data. And sometimes whatsapp will delay, so sending sms will be more secure to ensure promotions are sent to customer daily.
