How to Automatically Fill-In Laporan Harian Pematuhan SOP

Quick Guide

  1. Install AutoHotkey (AHK).
  2. Select the script “SOP Daily Report v. 2.0 for 2020-05-21 (demo).ahk”.
  3. Unzip the “SOP Daily Report v. 2.2 for 2020-05-27 (Demo).zip”
  4. Run the script by double clicking on “ahk” file.
  5. Log into https://notification.miti.gov.my
  6. Go to “Laporan Harian Pematuhan SOP”.
  7. Run the hotkey by pressing <CTRL> then <1>,  all fields on that page will be automatically filled in less than 3 seconds.
  8. Finally, manually click “Hantar” to submit the report. Refer to video below for a demonstration …

How to Ensure that the Customer Has a PayPal Account

Seller protection is very important to prevent charge-back by customer/buyer

 

In order to do so, the customer must have a PayPal account. Otherwise, in the event of charge-back, PayPal will immediately refund the money back to customer.

 

In PayPal setting, disable the PayPal Account Optional feature:-

  1. Click the Settings icon next to “Log out.”
  2. Click My Selling tools.
  3. Click Update beside ‘Website preferences.’
  4. Select ‘Off’ under ‘PayPal Account Optional’ near the bottom of the page.
  5. Click Save.

With this turn off, customer must register an account with PayPal. This is an added security to prevent fraud and it enables seller protection.

 

 

How to Fix sfc Error “found corrupt files but was unable to fix” and DISM Error “The source files could not be downloaded”

Machine: Asus UX303

OS: Windows 8.1 64-but

Status as at 2020-05-25:  fail to solve

  1. sfc /scannow returns this message — “Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. “
  2. Run “DISM” as follows:
    1. Type “cmd” in windows search bar
    2. Right click on “Command Prompt”
    3. Select “Run as Administrator”
    4. Type “DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth” without quote and press ENTER
    5. Type “DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth” without quote and press ENTER
    6. Type “DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth” without quote and press ENTER

  3. If “DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth” return this message — “The source files could not be downloaded. Use the “source” option to specify the location of the files that are required to restore the feature.”

    1. mount the “iso” file of the Windows
      (the “iso” file is mounted as “E:\” drive)
    2. Type “DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:E:\” without quote and press ENTER

  4. Same error message appeared — “The source files could not be downloaded. Use the “source” option to specify the location of the files that are required to restore the feature.“

How to Solve mp4 Video File Cannot be Playbacked in a Web Broswer

Problem: mp4 video, “vcom-showing-connected-then-disconnected.mp4”,  in https://mobitek-system.com/blog/2017/11/vcom-showing-connected-then-disconnected/ cannot be playbacked.

 

Cause: encoding used is not supported by web browser even though the “vcom-showing-connected-then-disconnected.mp4” video can be played in Windows Media Player.

 

Suggestions: for HTML5 in general, the optimized video encoding would be H.264 for .MP4 or WEBM for .webm (refer to https://help.encoding.com/knowledge-base/article/html5-video-format-conversion-support/)

 

2 Solutions:

  1. use VLC to convert, refer to the guide in http://www.pavtube.com/vlc-convert-avi-to-mp4.html; or
  2. use https://video.online-convert.com/convert-to-mp4  to convert “vcom-showing-connected-then-disconnected.mp4” using “H.264” codec

After conversion, the video can be playbacked in web browser.

How to Prevent Brute Force Attack by Hackers to Gain Access to Your WordPress Site

Problem

To log into a WordPress Site, user name and password are required.

Hacker can obtain user name from the name of author in blog post, then goto WordPress default log-in page — https://your_domain_name.com//wp-admin/ , hacker will guess password to log into your WordPress site, hence “brute force”.

In a minute, if a hacker can guess 10 passwords then in a day, hacker can try 14,400 different passwords (10 x 60 x 24 ) to try to log into your WordPress site.

It is a matter of time, the hacker can guess the correct password.

 

Solution: use “Loginizer Security” plug-in to prevent brute force attack

  1. Install plug-in “Loginizer Security“.
  2. Under “Blacklist”, enter range of IP address that is not in your home country. This will reduce brute force attack significantly.
