How To Solve “USB device not recognized” or COM port Number Does Not Appear in Device Manager

Applies To:

MOBITEKĀ® S80 for SMS Over 3G Network

 

Problem: Error message “USB device not recognized” appears or there is no COM port number in Device Manager. Also the red LED is on.

Solution: replace USB cable as it is faulty.
