How to Configure MS SQL Express 2017 to Use SQL Authentication

Applies to: MS SQL Express 2017 and SQL Server Management Studio version 17.8.1

  1. Create a Login User
  2. Enable SQL Server authentication mode
  3. Restart SQL Server
  4. Log in with SQL Server Authentication mode
