SMS Engine is a back-end programme that automatically sends and reads
SMS. All SMS transactions are stored in a database. System integrator and
software developer do not need to write any code to build a SMS Gateway.
There are 2 editions:
- SMS Engine-Basic Edition
- SMS Engine-Enterprise Edition
SMS Engine-Basic Edition is part of the SMS Gateway Development Kit, and
it is free. It runs as a Windows Application, and uses Access database.
SMS Engine-Enterprise Edition is not free. It runs as a Windows Service,
and uses MS SQL Server database.
