Partner Do’s and Don’ts

MOBITEK is Dell registered partner and authorised reseller. Here is a list of what we can do and cannot do:-

  • Promptly register all opportunities >20K$ projected revenue in the Dell Partner Portal.
  • Clearly declare the correct end customer details that you are working with to your Dell Account Managers; irrespective of the opportunity size.
  • Validate the End-User company profile and ensure that they are an end user and not a reseller / Channel Partner.
  • Provide accurate information (end customer details, LoB, quantity, Book Date – a future date when the opportunity is expected to close, etc.) while registering the deal.
  • Coordinate with Dell Inside Sales Representative / Channel Account Manager in product positioning after DR is approved.
  • Provide End User / End Customer Purchase Order and other documents required to execute the order during download stage.
  • Promptly inform the Dell Account Manager / Dell Customer Care in case of any order cancellations or other issues raised by the end customer which affects delivery.
  • Abide by the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).*
  • *As per Terms & Conditions outlined in Channel Partner Agreement.
  • Share or promise any pricing with the end customer prior to submitting for DR.
  • Share approved prices of one end customer, with another end customer.
  • Sell to another Channel Partner declaring them as an End Customer.
  • Provide wrong information on the opportunity (end customer name, LoB, quantity, etc.) while registering the deal.
  • Falsify /misrepresent an End Customer purchase order to download an opportunity.
  • Sell to an End Customer other than that declared during DR.
  • Continue to engage on an opportunity after the DR is rejected by Dell.
  • Not without written approval from Dell Account Managers, sell Dell products into the open market or any customer other than the named End Customer.
  • Violate any Export Control Laws and regulations of the United States and of the country in which the products are manufactured and / or sold including sales of product into any US Embargoed nations viz. Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Syria.*
